José VAN DAM
Jean-Louis RASSINFOSSE
Jean-Philippe COLLARD-NEVEN

The celebrated baritone-bass José van Dam revisits the tango cancíon at the instigation of the unusual Rassinfosse/Collard-Neven duet. What is more, he finds especially those moments of immanence that are only shared by virtue of ‘unexpected’ time, bathed in the brilliant light that is the lunfardo (Buenos Aires slang), that language, that irrepressible heart of the tango cancíon that is a secret alliance of Italian and Spanish. It is within this world that the baritone-bass voice melds with the prodigious glissandi of its ‘counterpart’, the double bass of Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, uniting with the indefinable, because dazzling, piano of JeanPhilippe Collard-Neven. Carlito cada día canta mejor…
